Coordinator, Quality
Venture Global LNG ("Venture Global") is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company's two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
We are looking for a Quality Coordinator to establish, implement, and periodically evaluate the Quality Management System for our team to ensure suppliers, contractors, and standard operations maintain compliance with all project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, and all federal, state, and local requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures
- Ensuring compliance with current project requirements, codes & regulations
- Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures
- Determining data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans
- Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality policies
- Assisting with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures
- Providing departments with quality planning and support
- Conducting or assisting with regulatory and quality training sessions
- Preparing, reviewing and maintaining quality management documentation
Qualifications
A Bachelor of Science degree in Quality Assurance is ideal; however, years of service in similar roles demonstrating capabilities could be substitutedA minimum of 10 years of experience in the Quality field with at least 5 years in a Leadership RoleExperience in LNG liquefaction facilities preferredAbility to perform multiple tasks, work within project deadlines and adjust as priorities changePossess the ability to mentor others through technical training and guidanceHave the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to include P&IDs, Civil / Structural plans and details, Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Piping Isometrics, etcBroad knowledge and understanding of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practicesKnowledge of industrial construction welding processes and nondestructive testingExhibit excellent written and oral communication skillsHave advanced computer experience with software tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Projects, BI, PowerPoint, and Excel Work productsAbility to obtain a TWIC CardStrong knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, international quality standards, and technical matters related to ASME and API codes and standardsExperience with audits, inspections, and vendor evaluationsWell-articulated with excellent written and verbal communication, planning, computing, technical, and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel, both domestic and international, if necessaryBroad knowledge and understanding of all industry codes, standards, and industry best practicesPreferred Minimum Certifications
