Residential Counselor (Brain Injury)

Job Description

Schedule : Mon-Fri, 8am-2pm Salary : $20.75 / hour Sign on bonus : $2,000; $1000 upon completion of 30 days, $1000 upon completion of 9 months

As a Residential Counselor, you will provide direct support to people with brain injury or behavioral conditions in either a small group residential setting or an individual living arrangement. In your role, you will work together with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform their lives by building independence skills or increasing each person's quality of life.

Residential Counselors have a range of duties including :

• Administering medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP)
• Implementing treatment plans
• Assisting people with activities of daily living, such as household chores and cooking
• Providing transportation on outings such as shopping and doctor's appointments
