Director of Memory Care

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Memory Care Director to lead our memory care program. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality care for residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other cognitive impairments. The Memory Care Director will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible support while fostering a nurturing environment for both residents and staff.

• Duties
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
• Supervise and manage staff in the memory care unit, providing training and support to ensure high standards of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to enhance resident care and well-being.
• Monitor resident health and behavior, adjusting care plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to memory care services.
• Oversee budgeting and financial management within the memory care department.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages social interaction and engagement among residents.
• Maintain open communication with families regarding resident progress and any concerns.
• Skills
• Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings, specifically in memory care or dementia care.
• Strong background in senior care management, including long-term care experience.
• Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and supervision.
• Knowledge of medication administration practices and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with operations management, including budgeting and financial acumen.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff members.
• Ability to create a supportive environment that respects the dignity of each resident while promoting their independence.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $62,500.00 per year
