Our client is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) to lead their stormwater and water resources projects in Colorado. This is a high-impact, seller-doer role combining technical delivery with project management, at a 100% employee-owned firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage stormwater and water resources projects from planning through construction
- Perform hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain analysis, BMP design, stream restoration, MS4 compliance, and water rights work
- Review technical deliverables, reports, designs, specs, permitting documentation, and construction plans
- Conduct site assessments and provide construction guidance
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a collaborative team culture
Qualifications
Required :
B.S. or M.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited)Licensed PE in Colorado or ability to obtain upon hire6–12 years of stormwater / water resources experienceStrong background in hydrology, hydraulics, floodplain mapping, and stormwater managementProficiency with HEC-RAS (1D / 2D), HEC-HMS, CUHP, EPASWMM, HY-8, AutoCAD / Civil3D, and GISExcellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred :
