Are you ready to drive the future of the automotive industry? We are seeking a visionary Business Development Manager to lead our expansion within the automotive OEM and Tier supplier segments.

Location : Detroit, MI / Toledo, OH

In this role, you will :

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the automotive OEM and Tier supplier markets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to target potential clients and build a robust pipeline of new leads within the automotive market and ARG solutions.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery and implementation of solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned .

To succeed, you will need

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the automotive supply chain, including components, manufacturing processes, and key players within the OEM and Tier supplier segments.
  • High level technical proficiency / understanding of various software solutions used in a manufacturing environment, such as PLCs, MESs, and process control solutions.
  • Must be flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with all levels in the organization with a professional and positive manner.
  • Effective capability with Microsoft Office programs with upper Excel and Power BI knowledge.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish and additional languages are a plus)
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the automotive industry, specifically with OEMs and Tier suppliers.
  • Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Travel

    Up to or at times exceeding 50% overnight travel throughout North America, including Canada, Mexico, and occasionally other international travel
