About The Role

FTS Inc is partnering with a fast-growing nonprofit organization in Rockville, MD, to bring on a Call Center Representative . This position offers a contract-to-hire path, giving candidates the chance to transition smoothly into a permanent role. In this position, you will serve as the primary contact for customers , assisting with inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring each interaction delivers an excellent experience. The role requires professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle a wide range of customer needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming phone calls with courtesy and professionalism, ensuring customers feel supported.
  • Provide clear and accurate information on company policies, services, and available programs.
  • Record and update customer interactions in internal databases with accuracy.
  • Support customers in resolving issues and escalate complex cases when needed.
  • Apply effective communication techniques and professional phone etiquette to build trust and confidence.
  • Partner with colleagues to improve workflows and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company offerings; familiarity with medical office procedures or terminology is an advantage for specific client needs.

Required Skills Additional Language Skills Are Highly Valued.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver empathetic, customer-focused service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with data entry and comfort using customer management systems.
  • Familiarity with medical office processes or terminology is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused while handling multiple priorities.
