Join a Growing ISO9001 / AS9100 Aerospace Shop

J&E Precision Tool is expanding and seeking an experienced pro to set up and operate CNC lathes while producing close-tolerance aerospace parts.

What You’ll Do

  • Plan assigned jobs with the programmer, general manager, and production manager
  • Review work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and book documents to define specs and outcomes
  • Gather material, tooling, fixturing, and required supplies
  • Set up mills and / or lathes : install and adjust chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicate vises and tram heads
  • Maintain coolant and oil levels; change chip bins as needed
  • Run and monitor machines; make adjustments during production
  • Inspect and measure finished parts; compare against requirements
  • Submit parts to the Quality Inspector for first piece, in-process, and final inspections
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times
  • Perform preventive maintenance using sign-off sheets; follow manufacturer instructions
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and notify management for repair scheduling
  • Operate additional machinery without supervision
  • Complete annual trainings for audit preparation
  • Keep a neat work area, manage time effectively, and handle other duties as assigned by top management
