J&E Precision Tool is expanding and seeking an experienced pro to set up and operate CNC lathes while producing close-tolerance aerospace parts.

What You’ll Do
Plan assigned jobs with the programmer, general manager, and production managerReview work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, and book documents to define specs and outcomesGather material, tooling, fixturing, and required suppliesSet up mills and / or lathes : install and adjust chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, and stock pushers; indicate vises and tram headsMaintain coolant and oil levels; change chip bins as neededRun and monitor machines; make adjustments during productionInspect and measure finished parts; compare against requirementsSubmit parts to the Quality Inspector for first piece, in-process, and final inspectionsAdhere to safety procedures and regulations at all timesPerform preventive maintenance using sign-off sheets; follow manufacturer instructionsTroubleshoot malfunctions and notify management for repair schedulingOperate additional machinery without supervisionComplete annual trainings for audit preparationKeep a neat work area, manage time effectively, and handle other duties as assigned by top managementTools & Standards
