Position Summary

The College of Agriculture at Auburn University, located in Auburn, Alabama, http : / / www.ag.auburn.edu, is seeking candidates for the position of Post-Doctoral Fellow in various disciplines of agricultural sciences. The position involves executing work related to contracts and grants. We are seeking applications from individuals with a PhD in areas such as Agricultural Economics, Animal Sciences, Crop, Soil and Environmental Sciences, Biosystems / Agricultural Engineering, Entomology, Fisheries, Aquaculture and Aquatic Sciences, Food Science, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Poultry Science, Rural Sociology, or related fields. Positions are available for a minimum of one year, with potential renewal up to four years based on funding, need, and performance. These are non-tenure track positions.

Minimum Qualifications

A PhD in the relevant area at the time employment begins. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are required. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements to work in the U.S. at the start of employment and throughout the employment period.
