Job Summary : This position coordinates installation, maintenance, and repair work in our manufacturing facilities. This role supervises a team of hourly technicians and trades people to execute work plans of preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance of the site's building equipment and grounds. This role will respond to breakdowns and lead project work.

Key Responsibilities (Other Duties As Assigned) :

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and support of buildings, grounds, and facilities systems.
• Coordinate installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
• Preparing weekly maintenance schedules and allocating work.
• Supervising and training maintenance technicians.
• Overseeing technicians during installations, repairs, or maintenance (electricians, plumbers, etc.).
• Inspecting and maintaining building systems (heating, ventilation, etc.).
• Contributing to the development of maintenance budgets and ensuring compliance.
• Monitoring inventory of materials and equipment.
• Participating in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations).
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• May be responsible for housekeeping staff.

Scope & Impact : This position plays a crucial role in maintaining building equipment and grounds, ensuring they are in good and safe condition at all times, and contributing to the overall efficiency and functionality of the manufacturing facility.

Physical Demands / Work Environment : Often required to sit, repetitive hand motion (such as typing), hear, listen, talk, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, crawl reach overhead push / pull and lift up to 30 pounds. Seldom required to Climb ladders, kneel, squat, crouch, balance or lift up over 50 pounds.
