We’re seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained elementary classroom designed for students working on social-emotional learning and emotional regulation.

In this role, you will teach and support elementary students within a self-contained setting, providing direct instruction in academic content as well as emotional regulation and coping strategies. You will implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) for all students, ensuring individualized support that fosters personal growth. Creating a safe, structured, and encouraging classroom environment will be a key focus, while collaboration with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families will help ensure each student receives the guidance and resources needed to succeed.

• Hours : 37.5 per week

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field. A genuine commitment to supporting diverse learners and advancing educational equity is essential. Previous experience in an elementary special education setting is preferred. Applicants must hold a valid teaching license in Special Education, with an LBS1 endorsement or equivalent highly recommended.
