We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Manager to join our client's team on a long-term contract basis in Houma, Louisiana. Responsibilities :

Oversee and perform daily accounting operations, including data entry and account management.

Prepare and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice approvals and payments.

Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting.

Support the preparation and analysis of general ledger accounts.

Facilitate financial statement audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Familiar with accounting for labor and part sales.

Maintain accurate and organized records of all financial transactions.

Requirements :

Proven experience in accounting operations, including month-end close and general ledger management.

Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and journal entry processes.

Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures.

Proficiency in managing accounts payable workflows.

Experience supporting financial statement audits.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
