Job Description

Inside Retail Flooring Sales Consultant for Carpet, Hardwood, LVP, Vinyl, Ceramic, Area Rugs, Installation, and more.

Deliver exceptional customer service by offering flooring solutions, explanations and options.

Prepare quotes, write orders, have excellent customer service and presentation skills.

Projects a warm, inviting, and trustworthy image on the phone.

Accept payments, financing applications, checks, credit cards, and cash.

Serve as a liaison between clients, scheduling, and warehouse departments.

Maintain close contact with customers to give updates on order progress.

Keep records of customer’s interactions

Job qualifications

Education : High School diploma or GED

Experience : One or more years of Retail Sales.

Skills : Ability to understand and communicate numerical data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to details

Basic computer skills, general understanding of technology, including mobile devices and internet searches.

A background or interest in Interior Design is a plus.

Flooring product knowledge is a plus but not necessary. We will train.

Our warehouse hours are Monday through Friday 7 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. to noon. Our retail store hours are Monday and Thursday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
