Overview
The Professional Services team provides presales and implementation support to Choice Solutions' business customers. The Systems Engineers act as the primary build engineers for the professional services team, working with Sr. Solutions Architects on solution delivery. This is a fully remote position and requires residence in one of the following states : Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas, or Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary build engineers to deliver solutions as designed by Sr. Solutions Architects
- Install, configure, and support : Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (on-premises or Citrix Cloud), Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) in client Azure environment, Nutanix AHV or VMware ESXi-based workloads, M365 with Exchange Online, and Intune
- Collaborate directly with customer IT teams to assess environment readiness, communicate build progress and implementation status, validate deployments through client walkthroughs and testing, and support UAT
- Troubleshoot deployment issues and interface with internal cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy of the designed solution
- Ensure work complies with security policies and change management processes
- Contribute to and help develop internal post-sales processes to create more efficient workflows
- Stay current on technologies aligned with business initiatives; conduct research on technical details to support designs and customer inquiries
- Create high-level solution drawings (Visio) and document implementation steps and configuration changes
- Continuously pursue knowledge on latest trends, product releases, and vendor offerings
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on experience in build and implementation rolesMinimum of 3 years building Azure native or Citrix environmentsMinimum of 3 years working for an integrator or consultantS solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Azure AD environmentsStrong troubleshooting skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clientsAdditional experience with technologies such as ControlUp, FSLogix, IGEL, Nerdio, Liquidware, etc. is a plusMicrosoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Citrix Certified Associate-Virtualization (CCA-V), Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ-140) certifications are a plusProfessional Services Requirements & Expectations
