Job Description Summary Job Description Position Responsibilities : Comply with all company safety policies and industry regulations Read and comprehend detailed mechanical instructions and follow established procedures Perform complex sheet metal assembly, with the ability to drill, rivet, screw, and bolt Accurately position and align, either manually or with hoists / cranes, large components and sub-assemblies, which may include blowers, motors, burners, manifolds, compressors, etc. Position individual parts and components by using templates or by reading measurement devices Ensure all parts fit together correctly and meet construction standards for a quality final product Assist the Paint Department, which may include lifting, moving, washing, sanding, and storage of unpainted and painted parts, when necessary Other duties as assigned Requirements : Education & Experience : Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow directions Ability to read complex instructions in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and to follow them accurately Ability to use professional hand tools (socket set, Allen set, wrenches, snips, wire stripper, and crimper) and power tools (3 / 8” and 1 / 2” drill, screw gun, impact wrenches) Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that may be small Successfully complete training to safely operate the overhead hoists / cranes to move and position large assemblies Successfully complete training to safely operate various forklifts to move and position large assemblies and pallets Base Pay Range : $18.62 - 25.59Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and / or experience.
