Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Shift in Johnstown, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role will involve conducting routine patrols, interacting with personnel, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution and logistics location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
  • Observe for suspicious activity and report any irregularities or hazards according to established protocols.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and deliveries to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
