Growing Civil Engineering firm is expanding in Dallas and looking for a Principal Engineer to provide office leadership, project oversight, and management, involving planning and directing the work of other engineers and technical staff, managing complex projects from start to finish, and ensuring quality and budget adherence. Job responsibilities will also include preparing designs and technical reports, evaluating and approving designs and construction plans, coordinating with other agencies and contractors, and contributing to departmental budgets and strategic planning. This role is distinguished from a senior engineer by its broader scope of responsibility, often including the supervision of entire engineering divisions or multiple project teams. Oversee the technical and financial aspects of complex and large-scale civil engineering projects, from initial feasibility studies through to construction completion. Assist in the preparation and administration of departmental budgets, develop cost estimates, and manage project expenditures and resources effectively.

Requirements

• PE in Texas
• 10-20 years of graduated design and project management civil engineering work in Texas
• Commercial civil site design
