Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys specializing in tax law and property tax.
- Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, correspondence, and filings.
- Conduct legal research and compile findings into digestible formats.
- Maintain and organize case files, databases, and digital records.
- Assist with client intake, scheduling, and communication.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including government agencies and community partners.
- Support grant reporting and compliance documentation.
- Help implement and manage legal tech tools (e.g., document automation, case management software).
- Contribute to process improvements and tech-driven solutions for legal workflows.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or related field.2+ years of experience in a legal support role, preferably in tax law or nonprofit settings.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and legal tech platforms.Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities.Passion for social justice, public policy, or nonprofit work is a plus.Why Join Us?
