Receiving Clerk

This is not an official job description, but represents major responsibilities a new hire can expect to perform :

You could expect the position of receiving clerk to include the following :

• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Unload trucks with use of forklift or power jack
• Follow company guidelines when using power equipment
• Have a basic knowledge of Word and Excel; be able to navigate programs; print invoices
• DEX vendor invoices for incoming product (involves plugging DEX unit into computer jack to view and print invoices)
• Exercise discretion while handling confidential information
• Verify item count received with invoices; i.e. number of cases, etc.
• Handle damaged product and product returns
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management

Training will be provided at store level.

Physical demands :

Bending

Stooping

Able to stock 50 cases per hour

Able to pull loaded stock truck

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional requirements Internal candidates :

Store / Facility Teammates : minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.

Store Support Center Teammates : minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.

Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).

If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
