job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to observe and report any unusual activity. Assist with controlling access to the premises, verifying identification, and monitoring entry points as required by site procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding any incidents or concerns. Document and report any incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities according to site protocols. Support a secure environment by maintaining a visible presence and helping to deter unauthorized access within the location, which focuses on technology, media, and telecom operations. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols Full-Time in Smithfield, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a leading tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming atmosphere. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
