Welder / Fitter : Burlington, W isconsin

Our customer in Burlington, Wisconsin, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. As a Welder / Fitter, you will be responsible for using measuring devices to assist in the layout and fit of steel, welding pieces together in various positions, grinding burrs and sharp edges, inspecting completed work for defects, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities of the Welder / Fitter :

• Use measuring devices to assist in the layout and fit of steel to be welded.
• Weld pieces together in flat, vertical, or overhead positions to create the desired completed product according to documented prints.
• Grind burrs and sharp edges using hand grinders.
• Examine completed workpieces for defects such as deformed edges and marred surfaces.
• Comply with all company safety policies, procedures, and practice safe work habits.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Welder / Fitter Requirements and Qualifications :

Pay for Welder / Fitter : Starting at $18-25 / hour.

Welder / Fitter Benefits :

Type : 1st Shift, Full-time

Schedule : Monday - Thursday from 6 : 00am – 4 : 30pm. Overtime as needed.
