job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDesign, execute, and maintain advanced manual test cases for POS systems and payment workflows. Ensure stakeholder feedback is captured and reflected in test strategies and execution. Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on POS hardware and software. Validate payment gateway integrations, transaction flows, and edge cases including EMV, NFC, and contactless payments. Log and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting. Use PractiTest for test case management, traceability, and reporting. Contribute to test strategy discussions, ensuring risk-based coverage and alignment with business goals. Provide clear, actionable test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders. Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices. Drive QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in manual software testing,
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance processes, procedures, and standards.
- Advanced proficiency with JIRA.
- Strong understanding of payment lifecycle, including EMV, NFC, and contactless transactions.
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor junior QA engineers.
