Location : Fully on-site in Arden Hills

Position Overview

As an Electrical Engineer II on our team, you'll design and develop electronic test systems for pacemakers and defibrillators, from circuit design to FPGA coding. You'll oversee production, maintain quality standards, and collaborate with software, firmware, and hardware engineers to ensure our devices work safely and effectively. This role also involves troubleshooting and repairing systems or guiding technicians in these tasks. Join us to advance life-saving technology and make a real impact on patient health.

• Responsibilities :
• Apply your knowledge of electronic design methodologies and systems to develop test system concepts, requirements and specifications using hardware engineering best practices and / or industry standards.
• Implement electronic instrumentation and test systems based on requirements and specifications.
• Integrate electronic instrumentation and subsystems into larger test systems that may include both software components and medical devices.
• Work in technical cross-functional teams to develop and support custom instrumentation and test systems.
• Hands on, and / or oversight of technicians in troubleshooting and repair PCB assemblies and systems.
• Required Qualifications :
• 2+ years of work experience in Electrical Engineering with BS
• The right candidate will have experience both designing and creating some sort of final product. We need the blend of creativity and execution in someone.
• Schematic capture, and oversight of PCB and system fabrication / assembly experience
• Knowledge and experience in low power analog design techniques
• Strong lab skills and hands on experience with standard electrical test equipment
• Integration of electronic and software systems experience, including problem resolution
• Experience writing documents, reports, memos, and change requests
• Experience trouble shooting and repairing electronic circuits at the board level
