Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Security Specialist located in the Durham, NC area. The ideal candidate for the Security Specialist role will have a strong background in personnel security, clearance processing, and escorting duties within classified environments.

Responsibilities of the Security Specialist include :

• Initiate and process personnel security clearances using DISS and other government systems
• Conduct indoctrinations and program-specific briefings for cleared personnel
• Serve as a security administrator for classified programs, ensuring compliance with ICD and NISPOM requirements
• Escort personnel in and around SCIF construction zones and existing secure spaces
