Pay Rate : $50 / hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday | Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Kelly Services is hiring on behalf of a respected client in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. We're seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Import Coordinator to support the U.S. Supply Chain Operations team.

This hybrid role will be based in Dallas, TX and plays a key part in ensuring shipments are cleared and delivered efficiently and in full compliance with customs and FDA regulations. The initial contract is 4 months, with the potential for extension depending on business needs and performance.

Position Summary

The Import Coordinator is responsible for managing import shipments, coordinating with customs brokers and freight forwarders, verifying tariff classifications (HTS codes), and ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations.

You’ll serve as the logistics lead in cross-functional meetings and collaborate with teams across supply planning, global customer service, and distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent U.S. Logistics in all import and tariff-related project meetings
• Ensure accurate application of HTS codes and tariff classifications for U.S. imports
• Coordinate documentation and clearance with customs brokers and freight forwarders
• Monitor first sale declaration requirements and documentation where applicable
• Track and report import KPIs, including shipment timelines and tariff financials
• Ensure all imports comply with U.S. Customs and FDA requirements
• Collaborate across internal departments and external logistics partners to resolve delays or issues
• Maintain documentation standards and support audits or compliance reviews as needed
