Controls Engineer

Position Summary :

The Controls Engineer is responsible for project requirements involving control panel design, PLC programming, instrumentation, check out support, and start-up assistance.Engineering responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing the controls system (logic software and hardware) to meet machine and integrated system requirements. Develop Schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring, and design equipment panel layouts on AutoCAD software. The Controls Engineer will assist with initial start-up and debug integrated systems and the development of systems.

Responsibilities :

• Developing, evaluating, improving, and documenting automation processes
• Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures for automation used in a 24 / 7 manufacturing environment
• Analyze the automation processes and identify ways of enhancing quality, cost, and throughput of those processes
• Work closely with production and maintenance departments to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees
• Provide automation support to production departments in multiple locations to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
• Support company policies, procedures, goals, and objectives

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or relevant experience required
