A Welder for Lennox AES at our Tallassee, AL location is a skilled position responsible for performing welding tasks with precision and expertise. They work with various materials, such as galvanized steel and aluminum, interpret blueprints, and ensure the quality and integrity of our products (roof curbs, drop boxes, etc.).

Duties include, but are not limited to :

• Fabricate custom and standard products from blueprints with high attention to detail and efficiency.
• Communicate with shop manager and engineering on product issues and assist with streamlining methods for production.
• MIG weld 10-to-20-gauge galvanized steel for adapters, curbs, and other products.
• Conduct visual inspections of welded components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with engineers, fabricators, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and successful project completion.
• Under direct supervision, spot welds together metal components.

Compensation :

This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay for this role and market is $19.50 / hour. Factors that may affect the full pay range for employees in this role and market include geography / market and the individual’s tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law)

Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role :

Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to : 10 days paid time off and 10 paid holidays.
