About The Role :

  • Providing expert advice on various tax matters, including corporate tax, international tax, and tax planning.
  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support tax strategies and compliance efforts.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax-related documents, including tax opinions, memoranda, and correspondence.
  • Assisting in client meetings, negotiations, and dispute resolutions related to tax issues.
  • Staying updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and strategic advice.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as finance and accounting, to ensure tax compliance and optimisation.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the overall growth and success of the tax practice.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice.

Skills & Experience :

  • Minimum of 2+ years PQE in Tax law
  • Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Australian tax laws and regulations is an advantage
