Software Project Manager

Overview

The Software Project Manager is a specialized project manager who works closely with the Software team and the General Project Manager on a specific project to deliver a successful implementation of TGW software to the customer.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Manages the successful delivery of integrated software systems into complex automated material handling systems.
• Maintains an active role in client relationships and facilitates sales opportunities.
• Interprets and communicates complex technical and commercial issues with customer.
• Develops specification documents, including functional specifications, interface specifications, network infrastructure requirements and specifications.
• Works with system integration team to define the interface points between subsystems.
• Leads onsite installation and commissioning of, and training on, software solutions.
• Organizes and leads acceptances testing processes.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Experience : Minimum of three (3) years of software project management / leadership experience, or related.

Travel : Up to 50% domestic and international travel.
