Security Officer - Healthcare Campus Patrol

As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for staff, visitors, and patients. Your visible presence and commitment to customer service will support a secure environment while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Pay Rate : $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Tue 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Wed 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Thur 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.
  • Monitor for irregular or suspicious behavior and report findings according to established procedures.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or patients to support a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal and healthcare facility personnel to address security-related needs and / or concerns.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
