Job Title : Director of Events - Development (Non-profit fundraising experience)

Job Location : Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Job Type : Full-Time

Must Have :

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Non-profit fundraising experience in complex organizations such as higher education or health care
  • at least 10 years of non-profit event management experience, eight years of which must include managing team members and driving event revenue; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with fundraising and events software, such as Raisers Edge NXT, GiveSmart, Whova, and others

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Bachelors Degree and at least 10 years of non-profit event management experience, eight years of which must include managing team members and driving event revenue; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Non-profit fundraising experience in complex organizations such as higher education or health care.

    • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs) :

  • Proven track record in driving revenue through events
  • Familiarity with fundraising and events software, such as Raisers Edge NXT, GiveSmart, Whova, and others
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within budget constraints; builds consensus and fosters a sense of teamwork
  • Strong executive presence
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Resourcefulness, creativity, adaptability and flexibility required
