- Running pre- and post-process equipment to manufacture high-quality glass.
- Feeding the line with required raw materials.
- Driving stand-up and sit-down forklifts to move product and materials safely.
- Completing quality checks at defined intervals and documenting results.
- Troubleshooting production and quality issues as they arise.
- Supporting changeovers and performing basic equipment care.
- Maintaining 5S standards for cleanliness, order, and tool placement.
- Participating in, and occasionally leading, Kaizen events to improve processes.
- Stepping in with stop authority if safety or quality is compromised.
- Modeling the AGC Way, plus taking on other duties or projects as needed.
When will I work?
6 : 50 p.m. to 7 : 00 a.m., following a 3-2-2 schedule.12-hour shifts, averaging about 15–16 workdays each month.Is there anything I should know about pay and background checks?
Pay rate is determined based on verifiable employment via the background check.
What qualifications do I need?
High school diploma or GED (required); NCRC Silver (preferred).Ability to learn problem-solving tools such as Six Sigma, Fishbone, KT, and 8D.Basic Windows computer literacy.Readiness to learn glass-specific quality standards.Previous manufacturing background is preferred.What skills help me succeed?
Proficiency in glass cutting and glass fabrication.Active forklift license with safe operation experience.Experience working in a manufacturing environment.What leadership traits are you looking for?
