Garden And Restaurant Front Of House Manager
Our ideal candidate will have a great understanding of hospitality and a deep desire to serve while leading a team of restaurant professionals. The successful candidate will also possess great leadership skills, unwavering attention to detail and integrity to uphold all service and professional standards of the Garden and the restaurant. Must also demonstrate the following :
Responsibilities :
- Organize the work and responsibilities for Front of the House Team
- Create effective schedules which appropriately service our guests and supports the restaurant
- Ensures uniform and hygiene policies are followed by all FOH employees to the expectations of our guests and the restaurant
- Complete payroll submission
- Follow budget and controls to ensure the restaurant is profitable
- Conduct monthly alcohol inventories and accurately updates the menu
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work both as a team with other manager / chefs and independently
- Create ongoing training materials for FOH team
- Receive and analyze customer feedback to help improve service to our guests
- Must have desire to provide excellent customer service and a great experience for guests
Qualifications :
3 years' experience as Front of House Manager requiredCountry Club or High-End Hotel experience a plusMust be able to work days, nights, holidays, and week-ends as neededMust have experience with weddings and group eventsTIPS / ServSafe CertifiedDining Room EtiquetteControl and pacing of the host standGreat verbal and written communication skillsHigh level understanding of beverage program including knowledge of wine, spirits and beer and the ability to control inventory, order and sell beverages to a wide clienteleStrong interest and understanding of food and suggestive selling techniquesDesire to build a strong team with consistent training, relationship building and demonstrating a strong professional persona at all timesExceptional guest service and hospitality skillsStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethicAbility to take direction, and communicate effectively and professionallyAbility to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, use of stairs, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely mannerThe above job duties and responsibilities describe the general nature and level of work for employees in this position, but this is not intended as an exclusive or all-inclusive inventory of all duties required of employees in this job.
