Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Tech I  in  Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader.

In this role you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests and experiments to ensure the quality and safety of consumer products.

This is a first shift position.

As a Lab Tech I you will :

• Perform physical and / or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Prepare materials and organize for product testing.
• Perform mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• May test or make visual observations on product samples from competitors and communicate test results to the appropriate requester.
• Conduct hands-on tests with multiple pieces of equipment.
• Move, arrange, sort and hang product testing weights (2lbs-20lbs).

This is a  full-time contingent  opportunity

Estimated Duration 24+ months

The ideal candidate will have :

Pay Rate : $24.00-25.00 per hour
