Job Description

Responsibilities include :

• Running the scheduling from project inception to finish
• Managing financial aspects including estimating, budgets, and cost reports
• Conducting weekly meetings and communicating daily with the Superintendent and construction team
• Maintaining a safe work environment
• Training and developing the project team
• Managing subcontractor schedules and quality of work
• Reading and interpreting plans, proposals and other documentation to create bids.
• Tracking and analyzing data to reduce gaps between estimates and actual costs.
• Obtaining and tracking subcontract bids and negotiating budgets.
• Preparing and presenting estimate documentation, including gaps in available data.
• Preparing estimates according to the requirements of multiple delivery systems. Reviews quotes and estimates with the project management team
• Assisting with certain post-bid buyouts.
• Initiating and participating in meet and greet presentations with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Comprehending contract requirements for diversity compliance.
