Proficiency in Java scripting, XML technologies, and implementing SOAP and RESTful web services. Experience with version control tools like CVS and GIT, UNIX shell scripting, JUnit, and SUN Solaris. Preferred : Familiarity with JBoss Drools rule engine, micro-services architecture, design patterns, caching technologies, Angular JS, jQuery, Node.js, EAP 7.X performance tuning, and continuous integration / continuous delivery using Jenkins. Business background in Financials area (Payroll, AR, Accounting) is a plus. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field preferred. Competitive conversion salary : $102,500-$113,000. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer III to join our team at our Cleveland Prospect Ave HQ.
Position Overview : As a Web Developer III, you will be an integral part of our development team, responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of web-based applications in the financial domain, focusing on areas such as Payroll, AR, and Accounting. The role requires expertise in Java development, familiarity with various frameworks, and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities :
- Gather business requirements, analyze, code, and test web-based applications.
- Develop and maintain web applications utilizing Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring Framework, and other relevant technologies.
- Implement security measures for web applications and web services.
- Collaborate with team members and work independently to offer solutions for improving application performance and functionality.
- Participate in the migration of Java-based projects and ensure the integration of new technologies.
- Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Maintain effective communication and organizational skills.
