job_description.job_card.job_descriptionManages and coordinates multi-discipline MEP design and construction phase services for projects both with internal staff resources and with external clients and stakeholders. Completes project initiation documents including details scope, outline, budget and schedule for completion. Identifies needed project resources and works with Corporate Discipline Leads to assigns team members. Ensures all procedures and steps are in accordance with Company standards. Acts as client / Company liaison, keeping both appropriately informed of project status. Represents Company at project meetings. Completes field surveys and / or inspections or assigns appropriate employees for same. Identifies and investigates potentially serious situations and implements corrective measures. Ensures project financial database is current and maintained. Prepares high quality reports. Communicates project changes and / or variation information appropriately. Develops project staff. Supervises the work of other staff when assigned. Consults and coordinates with Supervisor and other senior management members at regularly scheduled meetings to review status of active and future projects. Duties as assigned by Supervisor and other senior management members. Excellent knowledge of underlying principles of A / E industry. Excellent knowledge of project management processes. Ability to prioritize tasks. Detail and safety-oriented. Excellent communications skills. Ability to drive and maintain a safe driving record. Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors. BS / BA or MS / MA or related four-year degree or professional registration (PE / AIA / RA) in engineering or architecture. Demonstrative progressive growth in engineering experience / knowledge with 6-10 years industry experience / 3-5 years project management experience. Valid state drivers license (any in US). Ability to work in US. Ability to meet worksite security requirements including MA State Police and USCBP / TSA background checks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
