CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our Power & Manufacturing - Environmental Team at our Albany, NY; Syracuse, NY; Hartford, CT; Norwell, MA; or Keene, NH office.

Your Impact

Better solutions start with a strong foundation. With decades of experience in exploring a wide range of soil, bedrock, and groundwater conditions, CHA's geotechnical team makes sure conditions are right for success. We evaluate the impacts of ground conditions for infrastructure projects and create sustainable geotechnical engineering solutions that consider final project cost, schedule and performance.

The Geotechnical Engineer conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, the professional in this role works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.

The Geotechnical Engineer monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays, as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, and makes appropriate corrections. This individual identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments. The Geotechnical Engineer completes field assignments when appropriate.

Requirements

Salary Range

$82,000 - $92,500

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
