Insight Global is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist for our client, a key partner in the pharmaceutical sector, based in Easthampton, MA. The Inventory Control Specialist performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to; shipping, receiving, filing paperwork, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials. This person will also maintain the quality and quantity of stock and perform regular stock checks to adhere to assigned min / max levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Accurately controls and tracks physical inventory according to SOPs.
Ensures materials are stored safely and efficiently and that they are labeled and recorded correctly.
Issues purchase requisitions based on inventory levels.
Participates in inventory process and daily audits; researches and resolves inventory discrepancies.
Maintains and manages accurate records of quantity, type, and / or supplies stocked.
Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with SOPs.
Inspects all incoming critical materials per associated procedures and requirements, processing all accompanying paperwork.
Identifies damaged products and follows appropriate process to quarantine / return items.
Orders stock parts internally or externally to meet minimum quantity requirements.
Transfers completed jobs from the material control location to shipping daily based on product ship date.
Maintains a safe, clean work environment.
Participates in quality improvement projects.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Compensation : $55,000 to $65,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
