Duration : 12 months+, potential contract to hire

Rate : $38 / hr on W2

Job Description

The Data Engineer will collaborate with data architects, application development teams, data analytics teams, and the Data Governance COE to build and test interfaces between applications, data warehouses, and third-party systems in a combination of cloud and on-premise platforms.

Using ETL tools, data virtualization tools, and API engines, the Data Engineer translates business requirements into data interfaces, APIs, and pipelines to support enterprise data needs, application integration, and data access for end users and applications.

Skills and Experience

• At least 1-2 years of Matillion ETL experience with Snowflake as a target
• Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures
• 1-2 years of Cloud Data platform experience with Snowflake
• ETL migration project experience is a plus
• Healthcare insurance domain knowledge is a plus
• Experience developing ETL for data integration and transformation, including populating dimensional data models
• Experience with SQL (No-SQL and T-SQL is a plus)
• Experience in data virtualization, preferably Tibco Data Virtualization

Minimum Education and Experience

2-4 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree

Expected Salary

$38 per hour
