Make a difference as a Facilities Mechanic II

As a Full-Time Facilities Mechanic II at PTI Technologies in Oxnard, CA, you will perform essential manual tasks to ensure the optimal maintenance of our building and facility equipment. Your primary responsibilities will encompass carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general cleaning. You will conduct wall repairs, install plumbing fixtures, troubleshoot electrical issues, and maintain a safe and clean work environment through immediate cleaning and recycling tasks. Additional duties include conducting safety inspections of fire safety equipment and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing floor equipment.

You'll also handle hazardous waste management, including consolidating and disposing of materials properly. This role requires the ability to work independently while assisting fellow technicians as needed, making it a pivotal position in our commitment to excellence and safety in aerospace operations.

To excel in the Facilities Mechanic II position at PTI Technologies, candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and have two to five years of related experience or training. Proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as drills and saws, is essential.
