Position : Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner

Location : Bronx, New York

Schedule : Full-Time

About the Opportunity

A large, well-established multispecialty group with locations throughout the Greater NYC area is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join its team in the Bronx. This outpatient-only role offers a supportive, patient-focused environment with excellent clinical resources and no hospital responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will be board certified or board eligible, with an interest in providing comprehensive GI care. Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required. H1B visa sponsorship is available, and new graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with gastrointestinal conditions

Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging

Prescribe appropriate medications and develop individualized treatment plans

Educate patients and families about conditions, procedures, and preventive care

Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and other healthcare providers

Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation

Participate in call coverage as determined by the practice

Qualifications

Active / Eligible for New York State Nurse Practitioner license

National Board Certification as an NP (FNP, AGNP, or specialty certification)

Board Certified / Board Eligible in Nurse Practitioner role

Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care

Spanish language proficiency preferred, not required
