A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PRODUCTION MANAGER
As a Production Manager, you manage the total quality of our remodeling projects to ensure that they are done right the first time. You lead field personnel and subcontractors and are the driving force behind producing desired project results. Before construction, throughout the construction process, and after jobs are completed, you maintain open communication with our clients and keep them well-informed. Your excellent communication skills and attention to detail ensure that their needs are met.
Working with the production team, you determine daily scheduling and the follow-through of that schedule. Each day, you ensure that the crews are in place and aware of any special client conditions. As needed, you provide hands-on assistance. You also order materials and coordinate the timing of their arrival and placement. You are determined to make sure that projects stay organized, under budget, on schedule, and free of safety incidents. At the completion of each construction project, you schedule a final walk-through with the client and collect the final payment.
Your positive, friendly disposition comes through in all your interactions and is how you are able to foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, field personnel, and subcontractors.
