Responsibilities

• Experience in maintaining and repairing LMR user radios and ancillary equipment.
• Proficiency in using factory tools for depot-level maintenance.
• Strong understanding of manufacturer specifications and repair standards.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage equipment removal, reinstallation, and shipping processes.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and ensure repairs are completed within a five-business-day turnaround.
• Proficiency with Motorola ASTRO 25 systems (core, repeaters, consoles, RF sites, subscriber units) and associated software (Radio Management, CPS, Provisioning Manager).
• Experience performing RF testing and diagnostics using equipment such as service monitors, spectrum analyzers, and time domain reflectometers (TDRs).
• Familiarity with IP networking protocols and system integration for IP-based communications systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of encryption key management, including AES / FIPS 140-2 standards, OTAR, and KMF operations.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance in accordance with agency requirements.
