Licensed Practical Nurse / PDN Nurse

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical / Vocational program
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Professional Nurse in home health care setting
• Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Considerable knowledge of the care and treatment of patients and special procedures that apply to practical nursing
• Ability to use sensory and cognitive functions to process and prioritize information, treatment, and follow-up
• Ability to independently seek out resources and work collaboratively
• Ability to work with a variety of groups; multidisciplinary teams, managers, and staff
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and / or equipment over 50 pounds
