We're looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, proven leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of financial reporting. This role will oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. You'll be responsible for managing a team, implementing financial controls, and contributing to the company's financial strategy.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of two accounting professionals.
• Collaborate with global accounting partners in order to accomplish company wide goals.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Manage and coordinate external audits.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the accounting function.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
• Provide support in M&A and new company integrations.

Qualifications :

This role is hybrid (2-3 days in the office / week) - based in New York City, NY.

Salary Range : $120,000 - $135,000K / year USD
