Currently, they are seeking a Construction Manager to support a major mission critical initiative in the Columbus, Ohio area.

About The Position

The company is hiring an experienced Construction Manager with expertise in utility-level substations to lead on-site construction efforts for high-impact projects in NE Ohio and Central Ohio (CMH) . The engagement is expected to last approximately 24 months , with daily onsite presence required . Candidates must be local to Columbus, OH and willing to travel regularly between project sites.

The successful candidate will manage field operations, uphold safety and quality standards, and act as the main liaison between contractors, project stakeholders, and design teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years in construction management, preferably in the utility or energy sector
• Direct experience with utility-scale substation construction
• Experience in data center or mission critical environments is preferred
• Ability to manage field teams, enforce safety, and maintain schedules
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Must be local to Columbus, OH, and able to work onsite daily with regular travel
