IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Civil Design Technician 2 in our Greenwood Village office. As a Civil Design Technician 2, you will work closely with a team of experienced engineers andconsultants to provide civil design solutions and advice to clients to ensure positive outcomes.Primary responsibilities will include assisting engineers and other industry professionals toprepare models and drawings for civil engineering projects. This position will be expected to workwithin the project's monetary budget and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet projectgoals and client expectations.

Core Responsibilities

• Request clarification from the designer on items that are not clear on markups or instructionsfor drafting purposes
• Assist engineers and designer with field measurements of existing plans and prepare drawingsfrom field data
• Assist in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, utilizing engineering softwareand tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to coderequirements and IMEG standards
• Assist with documenting design decisions and instructions from clients while monitoring projectdesign progress
• Analyze low to medium complexity design tasks and propose innovative solutions. Collaborate withsenior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutionsmeet IMEG quality standards, industry standards and client requirements
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in civilengineering; Contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts within IMEG
• Prioritize safety in all aspects of design work; Identify and mitigate potential safety risksassociated with civil designs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other engineers, architects, and projectmanagers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals

Physical Requirements :

Salary Range : $50,000 - $69,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
