Overview

Northwest Kidney Centers seeks a Senior Recruiter to support the People Team in a full-time, hybrid position (Burien, WA).

The Senior Recruiter is a strategic partner to NKC hiring leaders, NKC leadership, stakeholders, colleagues, and the community. As a talent advisor, the senior recruiter will continually recruit and source, partnering with hiring leaders for current and future staffing needs to best support building candidate pipelines. The Senior Recruiter will engage in talent community development and speak to market trends to best support NKC. The role will build strategies to fill a variety of positions from hard-to-fill to high-volume roles, manage the full lifecycle of the recruitment process from requisition posting through acceptance of offers, and maintain relationships with internal candidates to support internal mobility. The senior recruiter will collaborate closely with the broader Human Resources team and internal stakeholders to ensure effective hiring and onboarding of NKC employees and to support HR and organizational strategies and initiatives.

Shift : Full-time, Monday - Friday, 1.0 FTE / Exempt

Key Responsibilities

  • The Senior Recruiter partners with hiring leaders and acts as a talent advisor. Develop robust and diverse sourcing strategies to fill hard-to-fill and high-volume openings, build and communicate recruitment plans, and identify new community, diverse, and online resources.
  • Follow up with internal and external applicants for active openings and support future needs; demonstrate success to pipeline prospects for future openings.
  • Review and interview candidates using behavioral interview techniques; make recommendations to hiring leaders and influence when appropriate.
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking to support sourcing and recruitment efforts.
  • Develop effective recruiting tools including interview guides, assessment forms, and other items to support the hiring decision process in collaboration with the Manager, Talent & Development.
  • Stay up to date with best practices and the selection process. Provide regular updates to hiring leaders on recruitment status, including a fluid sourcing plan to keep leaders informed and maintain credibility of Talent Acquisition / Human Resources.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers consistent with NKC procedures and compensation philosophy.
  • Develop reports and monitor recruitment-related metrics with eye toward trends (e.g., time to fill, quality of hire, weekly fills, hiring manager satisfaction, diverse slate of applicants, applicant / hire source, and HR strategic goals).
  • Coach hiring leaders on modern, legal, and effective recruitment techniques; onboard and train new hiring leaders and participate in Talent Acquisition training throughout the year.
  • Assist internal and external prospects and applicants regarding NKC career openings and related People Team policies and procedures.
  • Assist managers and employees in interpreting and applying NKC People Team policies, procedures, and current applicable laws.
  • Make recommendations to resolve problems using best practices, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Represent NKC in community outreach with partners and at events such as career fairs and hiring events.
  • Participate in projects to ensure processes are lean, modernized, and maintain quality in NKC representations.
  • May support HR workflows such as conducting exit interviews.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

  • Equivalent of a baccalaureate degree and / or 5+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience
  • Proven success with diverse applicant slates, creative sourcing strategies, and growth mindset as a talent advisor
  • Recruiting and / or sourcing certifications preferred; ability to run, create, and analyze metrics and reports
  • Must be available for evening and weekend hiring / community events as needed
  • Preferred requirements

  • Strong preference for healthcare experience
  • LinkedIn Sourcing or other Sourcing Certificate
  • Experience in high-volume recruiting with emphasis on a positive candidate and hiring team experience
