Location : Vermont (Chittenden, Lamoille, Washington, Franklin, Orange, Addison Counties)
KC Mechanical is growing and looking to add an experienced Commercial Kitchen Appliance / Refrigeration Technician to our team. We service a wide range of hot-side and cold-side equipment for schools, universities, hospitals, nursing homes, restaurants, and country clubs across Vermont.
What Youll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, steamers, mixers, grinders, slicers, etc.)
- Perform preventive maintenance and warranty work for major manufacturers
- Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues
- Communicate clearly with customers, document work thoroughly, and represent KC Mechanical professionally
- Work with dispatch and teammates to ensure timely, efficient service
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial kitchen appliances and / or refrigeration (more experienced technicians strongly encouraged to apply)
- EPA Certification (preferred) and solid refrigeration troubleshooting skills
- Background with mixers, grinders, slicers, and similar equipment is highly valued
- Electrical and / or plumbing knowledge is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
