job_description.job_card.job_descriptionWork under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provide sensory integration, motor patterns and awareness of the external environment Develop / improve individual’s ability to independently perform tasks Serve as member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy concerns Facilitate goals and objectives per child’s educational plan Maintain appropriate records Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents Perform other COTA duties / responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and / or certification Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations Paid Time Off, with flat and accruing options so you can rest as needed Multiple medical & supplemental benefit options; from RBPs to PPOs, you're covered Professional Liability Coverage so you can focus with peace of mind Company sponsored Short-Term Disability, with additional options for long-term disability & critical illness Day-1 401(k) options with discretionary company match options Up to $500 Professional Development allowance for items including subscriptions, education materials, classroom materials and more. We’re seeking a talented, full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based services team in Oklahoma City, OK.
Professional License Requirements :
Applicants are required to have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.
- Have active state-level licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Experience working in children in a school setting required
